                                      2019 A Night of Music and Dancing                                         Club Coalicion Pinolera Santiago Papasquiaro (CPSP)

    

 

 

 

Beacon Business Bank was a proud supporter of a dinner dance event held recently in San Bruno that benefitted Club Coalicion, a non-profit foundation that provides aid to the community of Santiago Papasquiaro in Durango, Mexico. The specific benefits are designed for low- income families and individuals with diabetes.

Beacon’s CEO/president John Delaney as well as San Mateo branch manager Amir Zahendani represented the Bank along with Maria Nevarez who is a senior note department specialist and member of Club Coalicion, which also supports educational opportunities in Durango.  The non-profit is headquartered in San Jose.

Beacon Business Bank was a participating sponsor and partnered with the Burlingame Rotary in the 27th Annual Burlingame On the Avenue on Sunday, August 17.  The community event, sponsored by the Burlingame Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with California Artists, featured  music of popular genres from some of the best Bay Area Jazz, Rock and Blues bands. Beacon staffed a booth that served beverages and donated "tips" to the Rotary Service Fund for the benefit of students in need of college scholarships.

Among those participating for Beacon Business Bank were CEO/president John Delaney, who is a Rotarian, and San Mateo branch manager Amir Zahedani.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 2019 San Mateo County 7th Annual Pride Festival

    

 

San Mateo vice president/branch manager Amir Zahedani greeted participants at the seventh annual LGBT + Pride Day celebration held at Central Park in San Mateo. Among the visitors was San Mateo mayor Mayor Diane Papan. The day was highlighted by music, live entertainment, crafts, children's activities, a teen space and food trucks for the more than 200 participants.

Zahedani, a graduate of San Mateo’s Hillsdale High School, is also a member of the San Mateo Chamber of Commerce and is active with Junior Achievement of the Bay Area and the LGBTQ center in San Francisco.

“LGBTQ Pride Day is an extremely important cultural and community event,” he said. “At Beacon, it is very important that we are involved with our community and with the activities that our customers also support.”

Beacon Business Bank has been a co-sponsor of the event for the past two years.

San Mateo vice president/branch manager Amir Zahedani greeted participants at the sixth annual LGBT + Pride Day celebration held at Central Park in San Mateo. Among the visitors was San Mateo mayor Rick Bonilla, who recently welcome Beacon Business Bank to its new San Mateo location at 1701 El Camino Real.
 

The Pride Day, celebrated around the country, attracted hundreds of participants to San Mateo’s Central Park.

Zahedani, a graduate of San Mateo’s Hillsdale High School, is also a member of the San Mateo Chamber of Commerce and is active with Junior Achievement of the Bay Area and the LGBTQ center in San Francisco.
