Thomas Amendola
Director
Thomas Amendola is a San Francisco Bay Area native who began his banking career in 1995 at Bay Area Bank in Redwood City until its acquisition in 1999. He was an integral part of Liberty Bank in South San Francisco, where he was Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Director from 1999 until its acquisition in late 2022.
“I have enjoyed working in smaller banks as I feel they are much more flexible and timelier in meeting client needs than larger institutions. Smaller banks lend themselves to getting to know your customers and fellow employees in a way you cannot achieve in a big bank.”
Mr. Amendola holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an option in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration with an option in Finance, both from California State University, Hayward (since renamed to California State University, East Bay). He is also a graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking, held on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a recipient of the Wharton Leadership Certificate from the same program.
