Steve Andrews, President & CEO of Beacon Business Bank, announced the appointment of Rudolph (Rudy) Garcia as Chief Credit Officer as of January 2024. "Mr. Garcia brings a wealth of knowledge and a distinguished career spanning more than three decades in the banking industry. In his new role, Garcia will oversee the bank's credit risk management and lending operations, leveraging his extensive experience and expertise to drive the bank's continued success."
Before joining Beacon Business Bank in 2020, Garcia served as Senior Vice President/SBA Group Manager at Lighthouse Bank, where he successfully established and led the SBA Lending Department, building strong lending relationships throughout the Bay Area. Before that, he was Senior Vice President/SBA Lending Manager at Community Bank of the Bay.
With 23 years of experience at Wells Fargo Bank as a Senior Loan Underwriter and Loan Officer, Mr. Garcia is well-versed in credit risk management, banking, and credit analysis.
Garcia earned his Bachelor of Science Commerce in Accounting from Santa Clara University.
